Why not join the festival of Global Warming?

It’s really a awesome video, perhaps the best one in Isreal!

In fact, we’re always confused about what we can do to relieve the global warming; And here is the answer!

Be far away from our computer and cars for a while and take part in more open-air festivals. I know that there’re many open -air rock concerts in France with free access every year. It’s really a very  good idea. In China, there’re some, actually,  but that so often, which is a pity. And we don’t have festival like this. I think I’ll show the idea to my friends in China and maybe we’ll organize one on campus! For example, a concert without electronic instrument and acoustics, with just a guitar and pure voice. That’ll be great, isn’t it?

Do you support WIKILEAKS or not?

There’s not doubt that the Wikileaks makes the Americans in trouble for a long time. As a new technology which aims at improving the transparency of the government. Is it an angel, or an evil?

Frankly speaking, it’s an angle for the people; But really an evil for the government.

All the sources from the information come from the cyberspace. Actually, it’s the citizens who create the news. What Julian Assange(the founder of Wikileaks) and his groups are doing is just to find the origin of the event and make the rest of the world know the fact. In this point of view, Julian can’t be categorized as a hacker. It’s functioning more like a media.

On the other hand, if what the government does is a good thing, why should he be afraid of letting others know? The appearance of the wikileaks is just to satisfy the curiosity of the people, isn’t it?

But honestly speaking, everything needs to have a limit. On any degree, the wikileaks should never make everything appear on the internet, which will really make the victim awkward.

The FACTS we should know

Actually, I always hear the word “global warming”. Every people talk about things like global warming or climate change. But what on earth it is? What horrible effects it will bring to us? I’m really not sure.

I think almost every person in China will still remember the photo scandal of Edison Cheng. Though it has passed several years, the impact never dies.

Even now, it’s still a mystery to me. I can’t understand why people are so concerned about the life of the celebrities, who they even don’t meet. The only reason I can find is human nature. Human is born with the lust of peeking. It’s true that the Internet has provided us with a transparent space. Every one can share with others that they are concerned with or what they are interested in. But why interferes with the privacy?

In my point of view, I don’t think Edison Cheng is the person to be blamed of. He is just an unlucky man who just wanted to repair his broken laptop. But why the pictures in his laptop appear on the net? It’s weird, isn’t it? We have the right to take photos with anyone we want. And he even didn’t distribute them by himself. What I should blame for is not the poor person, but the guy who showed the private pictures on the net, and the mass media who arose the attention of people in an incorrect way. If Edison is culpable–which I take leave to doubt–then it is the media who created it, not Edison himself.

Why Edison Cheng is regarded as a sensual man and the other people who did the same thing are not? Just because that he is one of the celebrities? Or just because you recognized him in the internet among millions of so called ‘pulp pictures’? It is unreasonable. That’s why it’s a mystery.

Are we “doomed” in 2012?

When the teacher mentioned the topic “Global warming”, what occurred to my mind first is the movie “2012”. It was a movie released several years ago, which made a big noise in the world, and also arose the attention of the climate changes. Even today, many people including me still don’t dare to image what will happen to 2012. It’s what we called “2012 panic”.

But frankly speaking, the year 2012 is a little early for the destination of the world. Because at this moment, we all still live happily. But concerning our grand grand children and our development in the future, global warming should always be the issue that we need to attach great importance to from now on.

I don’t want to write something too serious today, because it’s a blog, and it’s my first post. I just want to create a new relationship between the earth and human beings.

In my opinion, the human being is just like a spoiled boy. His mom “earth” always tolerates his behaviors. Of course, the little boy is very clever. he is good at “science”. After using the technology to do much magnificent work, he can’t help thinking that he has become powerful enough to solve everything. So he begins to ignore his mother. He starts using natural resources without restraint, and tries to treat his mother “earth” badly. Until one day, the earth becomes angry, and the climate begins to change without expectation.  Many horrible changes come even after. The earth gets feared, he finally show respect to his mother.

So please, pay attention to our lonely planet and care for it like treating our mom. If it died, we would lose our homes, our families; if it died, we would miss our best friends; if it died, there would exist no us at all!

Do everything tiny things that can help to protect the environment in order to relieve the earth from global warming; what you’re insisting on is to change the world!
